Procrastimancer
Railsea China Miéville (US cover). Some Kind of Fairy Tale by Graham Joyce (US cover). The Railsea cover strikes me as the title scene of a video game or animated movie. I can almost imagine it animated. The train barreling up from behind, little more than a dull roar in the distance heard below the clanking of the wind chime title swaying gently in the wind. That said, does anyone know what the hell the book is about? The cover for Some Kind of Fairy Tale does nothing for me. The art department couldn't come up with something better than a park with a bit of fog added in? Bland. Prefer the UK version.
Gormenghast
From Tor:The Devil Delivered and Other Tales by Steven Erikson.Weird, they are republishing in UK "This Rivers Awakens" and in the US his other non-fantasy novellas?I wish "This Rivers Awakens" would be published by Tor as well, I'm 50 pages from the end and it's a masterpiece. For how much I love Malazan this 350-pages book is even better (despite being published 1 year before GotM).
