I'm not really one for comics or most of the fandom stuff they had there, although looking at people in costume is always fun. They had displays of the costumes for Ned, Dany, Robert, and a Maester. The Dany dress looked even better up close than it did in the previews-- the Targaryen brooch was really nicely done.The Maester's chain looks pretty cool, but the costume, when not on someone, is kind of confusing. Maybe because it was a short hooded cloak with a chain on a mannequin and looked like it might be a jawa wearing bling? In any case, yeah, a little confusing.The Iron Throne itself is cool. It's definitely a replica meant for promos like this, but it takes great photos. (They have it set up so that the photo immediately gets sent to an iPad where you can email it to yourself, post it on Twitter, etc.) Naturally I forgot my robe and wizard hat white cloak and sword, but I tried my hardest to get the pose down.Met Nim and her cousin and we walked around checking out general geekery.
