Oh, and they then lost a one-day series 3-2 at home to Pakistan.Incredible effort to perform so well in this WC after what must have been a pretty demoralising period in NZ cricket. The only thing preventing that from happening entirely is that the match starts at 2:30pm, so most people will probably come in to work in the morning and then leave after lunch.I had a 2pm class scheduled and the students requested it be cancelled in favor of a longer class next week.
