Hi Chris

"My name is Emily & I work over at HBO. You won your very own Game of Thrones Shirt for telling us what your House Sigil would be on the Facebook Page

Please respond to this email with your full name, address, phone number and we’ll send the prize your way.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]"

IS THIS LEGIT? FIGURED YOU GUYS WOULD KNOW. I DID ENTER THE FACEBOOK CONTEST. Is it okay to give out this info? I could not contact the [email protected]

DID ANYONE ELSE WIN A SHIRT? Thanks.

I'll find out if it's legit. Just give me your email address, password, and bank account details.

Good one! I already sent that info to the bank in the Caymans. Figured a shirt was worth it.

Haha, with HBO.com, it sounds okay, BUT, make sure you're looking at all your email headers and such. Sometimes, it's sent from a phantom account but it has a seemingly legit email address.

1. You did enter the contest

2. Name, address and phone are not that big a deal. Scammers usually want more than that

3. They need your address and phone for the delivery. That's something they'll need to know.

It looks legit. And if you have any concerns write back and ask whether your info would be used for any other purpose other than delivery of the item.
