Bormon Posted May 24, 2011 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Two things seem to stand out to me so far. First (as has been mentioned in other threads) is the noticable absense of the dire wolves. Ghost has been in bit appearances, and Summer (though he has not been named as such) hasn't been seen since the assasination attempt. I don't think Grey Wind has been seen at all. The connection to the wolves has not even been fully explored even in the books, but there are some key elements that they play a part of. So far in the series the wolves seem almost out of place when they appear.Secondly, is the King's Guard. They are there, but never really explained and not called by name.
