Attractive women but not the once-in-a-lifetime beauties the books make them out to be. They'll choose talent over a gorgeous women 100 times out of 100. Just like they probably will with Val.And that being said Tabrett Bethell is perfect. Don't give me too old because there's like a six-year difference between her and Kit. Check out clips of her on Youtube, she was fantastic on LOTS. I didn't even watch the show but went back and watched clips of her in the episodes just because she was so charismatic. Tough, funny, dramatic, attractive, she's got it all. The only knock is the casting's focus on European Union actors and she's Australian. But if that wasn't/isn't a factor, it should be her. Bride of Winter Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 I'm definitely set on Tabrett Bethell as Val. she's gorgeous, but there's something unconventional and sharp about her features. even though they say that Val's pretty enough to fit in at court, they never said she's conventionally pretty. Tabrett has a sort of look where she could make a convincing wildling and still be beautiful, as opposed to some of the other suggestions for Val who IMO would make better Cerseis and Sansas.
