mjbcoug
Just finished reading the first Samwell chapter. I have to say it started out as one of the more difficult chapters to get through so far - for me falling into the same category as most Sansa chapters. I had to restart it 3 or 4 times because I got bored, put the book down, and forgot what had transpired when I picked it back up. However, by the time I finished it I have to rank it right up there among my favorite chapters of all books to this point. The end of the chapter was definitely one of those feel-good, cheer outloud moments for me...and made the whole chapter that much more enjoyable. Not sure what to expect from future Sam chapters, but this one was most memorable.

Drowsey Dragon
Samwell brings so much out of this story. He is a very compelling and deep character. I always look forward to his chapters!
The Roaring Bear
I'm not the biggest fan of the Samwell chapters. I love him as a secondary character in Jon's POV, but I get bored reading from his POV.
TheDrawback
Sam's chapters are a good addition to the chapters that take place in the north i think. It gives you a much better immage of what is going on there as for example what has happend on the fist of the first men. And later on the situation at Crasters. Although he admits he is craven there is still some sort of courage in him that occasionally pops up when there is no hope left (coldhands introduction).Might be he will evolve to be a pretty important character
