Ygrette Posted February 8, 2012 Share Posted February 8, 2012 A "fit" is a very sudden emotional reaction, like something you might regret later. Like something done or said in a "fit of anger/rage". A little milder than a tantrum, but definitely something that might make you do something you would otherwise have avoided doing.
