teemo
There wasn't much of him, but he's pretty close to what I've always pictured. Of course there remains a lot more to be seen, but so far so good. Liked the flayed comment they threw in there. Wish he was wearing proper colors. ckal
Basically exactly how I pictured him. Didn't see a lot of him, but pretty sure he had those pale eyes and plain face GRRM likes to reference. I also like how he got to get in a line about flaying men =PGood cast.
The Bastard of Bolton
I'm disappointed that he isn't softspoken and creepy but I guess that would paint him as a villain too clearly.I like how they've already fleshed out the Bolton way of thinking... Trebla
I liked that he paralleled The Mountain like Robb did to Tywin. Sometimes a lord has to rein in his bloodthirsty men. That scene also had a ring of the books as well. Ned mentioned that Roose wanted to have Ser Barristan's throat slit after the Trident.
wolverine
I think his eyes could have been a more pale but otherwise he looked good for the role.
BondJamesBond
They are just warming up the audience to the full horror that is Roose and Ramsey.
Fat Mac
I liked him. He showed the Bolton way of doing things quite well, and probably informed non-book fans that not all Northmen are like the Starks.
Cheese Pudding
Less imponent than I thought reading the books, but looks promising.
Ramsay Gimp
He should have been wearing pink, but other than that no complaints. It's odd watching those two walk side by side, discussing strategy, while knowing that Roose will be the one to deliver Robb's coup de grace
iheartseverus
As soon as I saw him, I feared him. He's Vladimir Putin, looks just like him, only taller. Compelling voice. Dead eyes. He scares me. Perfect!
TheHedgeWizard
Thought his look was great, but yeah could of been more soft spoken. Why the heck was he in the west with Robb though?
LauraD
Yeah, the softspoken, demure thing was really what defined him in the books. Made it clear that his cruelty was not some extreme outward aggressiveness, but rather something twisted deep inside. It just added a whole level of creepy. Iron Captain
Other than him being a little louder than expected (as many of you have already said), I thought he was near spot on. In just a few lines they really seemed to portray how Roose thinks.
Winterfell is Burning
Great casting; there wasn't a lot of him yet, but just to see him talking so calmly about flaying men alive, even a non-reader will understand this guy is dangerous.
MegasAV
I agree well cast, in my mind in the book I always pictured him as a John Malkovich look alike and the show accurately showed that.
The Halfhand
Well cast, but I got angry as soon as I saw him. I knew instantly it was Roose Bolton. I guess that's a good thing for the show writers.
TheTrueMithrandir
too little so far, but glad to see him finally introduced
Stannis Iron Baratheon
I expected him to be taller
Tewks44
I imagined him to be more pasty and soft spoken. I love how the show interpreted his character, don't get me wrong, but in my mind I picture him talking almost like he's in some kind of constant daze. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him though.
