Funny hearing talk about sense from someone who argues that Sansa should imagine tyrion's reasons if he wanted to manipulate her and have sympathy for him. In her situation really. And your phrasing of my opinion is definetly not what I said so unless you start reading what's written I won't argue about it.

BlueQueen's comment is an interesting possibility.

Haha. I pointed out how you first said Sansa knew Tyrion was manipulating her and thus condemned him to death in battle, and you then said she couldn't know what he was thinking. That's called a self-contradiction. The other things attributed to me are your invention. Now, and this is the piece de resitance, you admit that BlueQueen's theory is an interesting possibility, again contradicting yourself. Why should I get involved in your self-argument?

Can someone tell me what the hell the Bronn/The Hound scene amounted to? Pretty dull and pointless if you ask me. Yeah, they're both interesting characters, but their meeting just fell flat.

I think it was supposed to show that Joffrey wanted to get rid of Tyrion and his men. It was meant to explain why Mandon Moore tryed to kill Tyrion during the fighting at the Blackwater.

And I also think it was meant to present both characters as great warriors.

Quoting myself:

"He could very well just pretend to be nice to her just like Cersei did. It's only normal to take a minimum amount of risks by trusting almost nobody when you're in the enemy's nest."

"You do that realise that ,kind or not, he's still her family's enemy ? Robb's enemy should the North's forces arrive at King's Landing gate. Is it surprising that she would wish for his death then? Tyrion' loyalty goes to the Lannisters, to Joffrey , even if he hates him."

"And she knows that". about Tyrion's reasons having to do with Jaime, go check yourself.

So no , I didn't say: "Sansa knew Tyrion was manipulating her and thus condemned him to death in battle, and you then said she couldn't know what he was thinking.". No self contradiction her, you just can't read correctly or don't bother trying.

you admit that BlueQueen's theory is an interesting possibility, again contradicting yourself.

Did I say I believed it? I said it was interesting. Maybe you need a dictionary too. I hadn't thought of it, and obviously neither had you, and I may watch the scene again and be more careful of the actors' attitude to see if it's so.

This is exactly what it was. Listen to the way The Hound was talking to Bronn about killing him, as if it was premeditated. It was clear he walked into that bar with every intention of taking him out.

Her theory is entirely in keeping with my comment that it made no sense for Sansa to give the same wish to Tyrion as to Joffrey and it directly contradicts your pretzel logic.

Again, what's with the sympathetic Cersei. She was a friggin B***H in the book, not a sympathetic, fond mother.

She's still a b***h, but she's a human b***h, non a one-dimensional harpy. IMO, one of Martin's biggest failures in the books is the botch he made of Cersei. Lena Headey and the writers have rectified that in the series. an if you think she's too nice, would you want her as a mother-in-law?

...

Read the post again.Or get a damn dictionary and look for "interesting" and "possibility".

"Interesting possibity = no possibility of being true, since it contradicts my phoney baloney logic."

I do believe.

Its hard to point to the best parts of the last episode, there were so many.

The acting was great, the dialogue, etc.

Is this the last of the Hound? He was one of my favorite characters. The scene with Sansa was a bit of a let down. The series seemed to be hinting at something between them, i'm not sure in what form exactly, but for her to decline his offer to escort her home was disappointing.

I haven't read the books, i don't know what is in store for Sensa, but I assume she would like to get the hell out of Kings Landing and head back home finally, that might have been her only chance to.

is it weird that I'm currently watching this epsiode for the 4th time? My girlfriend just walked into the living room, looked at the tv, and gave me a look like shes worried about me. Also she heard me humming "rains of castamere" in grocery store today and rolled her eyes... I'm not a fan boy, but i guess now.. i kind of am?
