Oh and my other favourite was that Tywin worked out who Arya was, but decided to leave her at Harrenhal with Gregor Clegane, because he seemed like an alright guy and would keep her safe........................ :lmao:

 Not too surprising since Tywin has been like Daddy Warbucks this season and the Mountain just seems like your average joe.

Based on the show alone, the "Good guy of the year award" would go to either the friendly and fatherly Tywin Lannister or the trustworthy and honorable Roose Bolton

Sort of off-topic, but this is kind of funny if you've ever had a non-reader friend trying to tell you what they think about character's when they clearly don't know their name.

Rob and Other Robb especially got me because one of my friends referred to Robb, Theon and Jon by the blanket term of Jon Snow for most of Season One.

Other Robb was CLASSIC but I love that The Hound is just "The Hound" , even college humour doesn't want to risk pissing off Sandor.

First someone told me they were convinced Sansa becomes Cersei 2.0 after Cersei dies. They did ask me however if Sansa would incest with Jon Snow...

Kissing cousins are not considered incest. But it would be weird, since they were raised together, which somehow counts more.

Haha.I especially like Roose Bolton. And I've seen more people referring to Jaqen as "A man" .

That and non book-readers have no idea that they're probably not siblings.

the ones that made me LOL - "the other Rob," "Who the fuck is that?" and "Gay Knightsister." Hah. Everyone knows Tyrion though, c'mon. You know, I thought my boyfriend only knew the names of Rob, Ned, Bronn, the Hound (his favorite characters), Tyrion and Dany (because my name is Dani), but it was revealed that he was faking. I told him I'd give him an hour neck massage if he told the truth, lol....he knows Theon, Robb, Jaime, Brienne, the Hound, Renly, Stannis, Dany, Tyrion, Bran, Sansa, Arya, Tywin, Jon Snow, Halfhand, HODOR, Joffrey. Got Cersei confused with Catelyn, didn't even know there was a baby stark, Sam, Drogo, forgot about Melisandre totally, Davos, and any of the Tyrells. Still, I am impressed, considering he doesn't like the show :D

He has no theories except, "I don't think we'll ever see the Hound again."

This Unsullied forum is very interesting:

Most of them are really quite clever. They have for example almost taken for granted that Robb will die soon, as a result of his romance with, and marriage to, Talisa.

I like the theory on here where the poster theorizes that Ayra will kill Joffrey by sneaking into Kings Landing and whispering in Joff's ear, "what do we say to the God of Death?" and when Joff turns around she stabs him in the neck and says, "Today."

Sadly not gonna happen, but I would forgive D&D for changing the books to make this happen.

A friend of mine is convinced that Talisa is a Lannister spy, because they showed her writing a letter and joking with Robb about being a spy, in the same episode where Arya was reading that letter from Tywin's desk detailing Robb's troop movements.

That actually makes enough sense (as potential foreshadowing) that he has me genuinely wondering... could that be a twist they're planning for the TV show?

I don't recall who first proposed this theory on this forum, but it remains my favorite new twist. I hope the writers have in fact considered it. It would add even more deeper pathos to the Red Wedding. Imagine seeing Robb's face, when he realizes not only that by breaking faith with the Freys he has destroyed his family but that the woman he chose to marry is in fact in the employ of the Lannisters. Beware the game of thrones.

The most wtf theory i've heard is from a woman I work with who believes Lysa is Jon Snows mother, seriously have no idea how she came up with that one but she is sticking to it.

Maybe she thinks that Lysa had an affair with Littlefinger or something and passed Jon off to Ned....but then Cat wouldn't hate him....so I have no idea. lol.

I really hope you are wrong on this, but I'm afraid there is a strong possibility you're prediction could be spot on. They kept Arya's hands pretty clean this season compared to the books (where she actually kills a Lannister guard on her way out of Harrenhal). They may choose to do the same with Tyrion...which would be a huge mistake. That scene was so powerful in the books, and brings Tyrion far closer to rock bottom, IMO, than if he just discovers Shae's dead body.

slight correction that was a northman

Ugh...that actually sounds like something they might do. And in any other fantasy world other than Martin's it would make complete sense too. I hope they don't do this.

I don't like TVShae, and my non-reader friends loathe her. I find her acting wooden and awkward even though people rave about her abilities aas an actress.

I am wondering if people are aware that the actress playing shae did hardcore porn

or at least it was a seriously close look alike
