GlennSnow
Has GRRM said anything about Ned's bones? I can't help thinking it is important to inter his bones in winterfell. I think it is a plot point we will see come up. Sorry of this has been mentioned I was looking for it on the web.
The Snowman
They were on there way up from King's Landing before the Ironborn took Moat Cailin. As far as I know they are somewhere around there just sitting there. What book are you up to I dont want to give any spoilers?
Grimwolfe
have a feeling they're at Greywater Watch with Howland Reed now. Considering their last known whereabouts was Moat Cailin, which was being harassed by crannogmen as we know. So yeah, my personal take is they ended up at Greywater Watch, which i seriously hope because that means his bones are safe and well looked after at least. Tony Soprano
I also think they're at Greywater Watch, or someplace near Moat Cailin. I'm glad the bones didn't get to Winterfell, I don't want Ramsay desecrating Ned's remains.
Last of the Darklyns
Well we know they haven't reached Barrowton (according to Lady Barbrey Dustin), so they can't have gone much farther than Moat Cailin - and if they were seen at Moat Cailin a while ago, they SHOULD have reached Barrowton, so I would agree with Grimwolfe - probably at Greywater Watch
Jon Snows Ghost
I think they are with Baelor The Blessed (around the sept of Baelor). In affc Cersei's chapter where she was going to see the septon hints to where Ned's bones are.....Check it out.[When she saw what they had done to Baelor the Beloved, the queen had cause to rue her soft heart. The great marble statue that had smiled serenely over the plaza for a hundred years was waist-deep in a heap of bones and skulls. Some of the skulls had scraps of flesh still clinging to them. A crow sat atop one such, enjoying a dry, leathery feast. flies were everywhere. "What is the meaning of this?" Cersi demanded of the crowd. "Do you mean to bury Blessed Baelor in a mountain of carrion?"A one-legged man stepped forward, leaning on a wooden crutch. "Your Grace, these are the bones of holy men and women, murdered for their faith. Septons, septas, brothers brown and dun and green, sisters white and blue and grey. some were hanged, some disemboweled. septs have been despoiled, maidens and mothers raped by godless men and demon worshipers. Even silent sisters have been molested. The Mother Above cries out in her anguish. We have brought their bones here from all over the realm, to bear witness to the agony of the Holy Faith."]I believe that the silent sisters were attacked, robbed, and murdered on the Kings Road and thier bones along with Ned's were brought back to the sept. Now Eddard's bones are among many and never to be found or it just could be a Red Herring.

Longspear Ryk
Well hal mullen? Aka captain obvious, who was the head of the stark's guard after jory's death wa escorting them from riverrun? To winterfell..Obviously at the time moat catlin was overrun by ironborn... So the obvious answer is that he an neds bone is at greywater watch with howland reed, mage mormont, galbart glover, and robbs will...(might of confused the mormonts and the glover siblings)
Lady Nastja
I also think they're at Greywater Watch, or someplace near Moat Cailin. I'm glad the bones didn't get to Winterfell, I don't want Ramsay desecrating Ned's remains.IMHO, this is the very reason that the bones were not returned to Winterfell at that time. I am sure they eventually will be, but at the time it was unwise given what Ramsay might have done to/with them.

FacelessDude
No, that's Gregor Clegane. It's not even known if Gregor Clegane's bones were used to "create" this Ser Robert Strong.
King of Winters
It's not even known if Gregor Clegane's bones were used to "create" this Ser Robert Strong.Gregor's body is thought to be used to make the body of Robert Strong, without his head, as one of Bran's early visions has someone take off their helm off and only blood is there. And Ned's body would be too small to be Robert Strong's. Thorion2
It must have been the other 8 foot monster who has died recently.Ser Robert Strong could be Robert Baratheon whose body mass was stacked vertically instead of horizontally. Frankly, if half the people theorized to have returned from the dead, along with those that have actually risen, this is the start of the zombie apocalypse Westeros style.
