Garlan Marius
the cities of Slaver's Bay get sacked and burned so completely it makes the end of Carthage look like a mere chastisement.Meereen delenda est.
Peasant with No Story Arc
After Victarion has brutally killed him, he'll make his ... "offer of marriage" again, and carry her off like a salt wife, with Unsullied, Barristan, and Belwas in tow (and a certain dwarf). She'll only half mind, especially once that dragon horn is blown and she and her dragons become compliant.I have to believe the dragon horn is meant as a complication for Dany, not a solution. If she can't control them having someone sail halfway around the world to give her a magical device that will would be bad storytelling. That's meant to be part of Tyrion's pitch, isn't it? Dragontaming 101?
Faint
Yeah, if I had to take a guess at it, I think Tyrion will manage to bring one dragon under control (perhaps even becoming its rider in the process) while the other will either flee entirely or come under the control of Euron (or some other malevolent force). He get horrible aches from riding a horse, plus tyrion on a dragon would be a bit lawl inducing..

StannisBamfatheon
You thought all that saddle making for Bran was established for no reason? :dunce: ah.Then again though Tyrion can actually use his legs...but I see your point. We still don't know much about the technology and mechanics of riding a dragon, Dany just seems to hop on Drogon and it's game time but not everybody may have that natural affinity for it. Peasant with No Story Arc
What's the horn supposed to do? Bind every dragon that hears it to the owner's will? There are two loose dragons and dragons are said to only have one living "rider" at a time. Will it not work on Drogon because he's already Dany's? Will only one dragon be around to hear it, leaving the spare one for Tyrion?

We know what Euron has told Victarion and Moqorro has told Victarion. I don't know if either is a particularly reliable source.

The horn may control the dragons but it also seems to murder the blower...trade seems fairly imbalanced.

He get horrible aches from riding a horse, plus tyrion on a dragon would be a bit lawl inducing..I am really hoping that GURM pulls one of those plot device tales, like Jim Balent did, and has the dragons morph into human shape. Read Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose, if you want to understand this. I warn you that there are as many nipples and breasts as in GURM's tale.Specifically, what I'm driving at is for Tyrion to put his Giant of Lannister's Lance inside one of the dragons, while they're assuming the shape of a comely female, which then enchants the dragon into letting him ride "her". dark sister
It's George reading an excerpt, and here's a video with it: Thank you! But it ends with Moqorro saying "I see dragons", while some other youtube user says that some other stuff happens afterwards...and it sounds very plausible, not troll-like. Does he read the rest of this chapter somewhere else? Do you know?

Winter's Knight
StanBam, I too suspect that the dragonhorn is actually the horn of Joramun.
The Frosted King
I can't see how it would go anywhere at all.Barristan would be the first to tell her just how looked down upon the Greyjoys/Ironborn are by westeros at large, as poor, poverty porn pirates with ideas far above their station.I can't see Victarion playing a game of seduction with a girlchild queen, and Euron has an aura of cruelty thats as blatant as the heatwaves on a car on a summer day.Failure is all i see ahead. They would bring little and less to Dany as consorts/husbands when it comes to the realm at large. Rhaegar Targaryen's Ghost
I think that Dany thinking she can win Westeros' love and support by arriving at the head of a slave army on board ironborn ships is about the closest thing to a shit sandwich this series can offer.... which of course means, that's how it'll go down.yeah if she shows up like this, there isn't one group of people that I can see saying "oh yeah, lets support her. Banning slavery here was stupid, and maybe we've been to hard on the Greyjoys..."
StannisBamfatheon
StanBam, I too suspect that the dragonhorn is actually the horn of Joramun.hah awesome :D Seriously I made a thread about this and before it disappeared into the ethereal beyond of Westeros.org my theory was well and put down, I felt so sheepish after that... But yeah Victarion saying "Euron's gifts are poison" just rings in my head as a reader for some reason. Euron seems to be pretty unscrupulous and fiendish too, if anyones gonna doom Westeros to a potential Other attack it would be the Ironborn who have never done anything to help the realm at large. It would just be a giant fuck-up worthy of Euron, who seems to be quite the omniscient jerk and due for a fall. "ohh boy here we go, dragon time baby!" Next chapter Jon witnesses the wall come crashing down....it would be pretty powerful. But WK as a Dany fan, you wouldn't wanna see her take up with the Ironborn would you? It woul feel...not quite right IMO.
