Lyanna Stark Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Despite stiff competition from her daughter Sansa Stark, I think it's time to consider whether Catelyn Stark is actually not the worst person in Westeros. Firstly, she was born a Tully and just pretends to be a Stark. Being a Tully is by its very nature totally uncool and a sign of utter weakness (The Blackfish was actually adopted). Her lack of Starkiness makes her make 300% wrong choices on everything and was behind her persuading Ser Ilyn to behead Ned.Secondly, she used her affair with Tywin Lannister to get him to send Ser Gregor Clegane to sack the Riverlands while she kidnapped his reviled son Tyrion, whom Tywin didn't like anyway. And besides, does anyone *really* think Joanna died in childbirth? It was clearly Cat who murdered her and made it look like she died giving birth to Tyrion.Thirdly, Cat was actually warging Ser Gregor Clegane when he smashed baby Aegon's head and raped Elia. She hates all the Targaryens, which is also why she was plotting to warg Gregor again to have him murder Jon Snow and Dany both. It was actually also Cat who was behind the idea to send the assassins to kill pregnant!Dany.Seriously, how could she? There are so many other examples it just boggles the mind! Catelyn was actually the one who corrupted Cersei and convinced her to sleep with Jaime — she wanted him to join the KG because she couldn't stand the thought of Lysa being happy and becoming the Lady of Casterly Rock.
