BonneHiver
I saw the HBO series and I'm currently reading the books but there was just this one thing that I never understood. Maybe they changed it in the TV series. But in the books Dany mentions that Xaro wouldn't really want to marry her and he doesn't really think of her all the time at night because she's seen all the pretty boys in loose silk that serve him in his home but then in the TV series he takes Doreah to bed with him. It's all a little confusing (I know this is probably extremely insignificant and silly). Did they make a mistake or is it supposed to be like that? The hairy bear
It's just that the Xaro's character has been completely changed by the showrunners. From the motivations to the personality, from the cultural background to the race. And his sexuality too.
Littlefinger of the Hand
I believe it is only because the tv series are different in many points to the books. They have significant less space for so many backstories and details.
BlackBrother55
Differences in the show, etc. The dude's gay in the books either way.
