An answer to "Where do whores go?" - Tysha, Littlefinger, Tyrion

Lyanna Stark

Littlefinger cannot request the marriage annulment for a third party. One of the people in question have to be present. In Lyanna Stark's theory, in order for Sansa's marriage to be annulled, Tysha (or Tyrion if he had a death wish) must go to the High Septon and reveal her legally consummated marriage to Tyrion. Should the High Septon accept her claim, this would make Sansa's marriage to Tyrion effectively null and void.

Exactly. One of the married couple have to be present to request an annulment. You can't just do it by letter. Either Sansa or Tyrion must request the annulment in person. It would be granted, because non-consummation is grounds for annulment. But neither one of them can do it.

Why on earth would Alayne Stone be able to annul Sansa Stark's marriage? How does that work?

So the way to dissolve that marriage, is by proving that it was never valid because Tyrion was already married. Luckily for Littlefinger, this is actually documented fact. Tyrion got married to Tysha at age 13. His father TOLD him the marriage was annuled. There's no story about getting dragged to the High Septon, is there? Tywin probably ordered the drunk Septon who married them to annul it, and the drunk Septon said sure, because arguing with Tywin looked like a bad plan. So Tysha, when she was gang-raped and then sent off who knows where, was still married, and still is, wherever she is.

For Littlefinger's purposes, it doesn't matter where she is. What matters, is that if she goes to the High Septon to complain that her husband married someone else, the High Septon can and will declare that Tyrion and Sansa were never married at all. He can get any woman he wants, to do this, because the only people alive who remember what Tysha looked like, are Tyrion, (he's in another country) Jaime Lannister, (he doesn't really care) and possibly a handful of Tywin's old guards, if any of them are still alive. Will they remember what she looked like? Probably not. None of them will care enough to go look at the woman and see if she's Tysha, so she doesn't even have to look like her.

I think this is a very likely theory.

Something along those lines. But I cannot see how he can get Sansa, the North, the Vale AND the Riverlands.

HtH & Alayne = The Riverlands & Influence in the Vale (plus Influence in the North after revealing Sansa)

LF & Sansa = The Nort and the Riverlands, No Vale

LF & Alayne = He is his daughter you sick bastard

To get all 4 seems like seems like to loosen a meerenese knot. But then, he is master of the game.

How about this: HH & Alayne, Alayne has a baby, HH dies. Alayne "dies" and her father, LF, becomes regent and rules the Vale.

He then marries the living Sansa Stark, and reveals her, gaining the Riverlands and the North, until her child comes of age.

Could Tysha have gone to Lys and become a priestess of R'hllor? also, was she one of Robert's bastards?

Not likely to the first, yes to the second.

Something I posted in the Small Questions thread.

Sad to say, the three would-be informers proved no more useful than the Tyroshi. One said that the Imp was hiding in an Oldtown brothel, pleasuring men with his mouth. It made for a droll picture, but Cersei did not believe it for an instant. The second claimed to have seen the dwarf in a mummers show in Braavos. The third insisted Tyrion had become a hermit in the riverlands, living on some haunted hill.

After the Tyroshi presented Cersei the head of Penny’s brother, she received three more informers. The third one spoke of the Ghost of High Heart. Now we know that the second one was Bobono. So, who is that dwarf in the Oldtown brothel, pleasuring men with his mouth. Is Oldtown the place whores go? Is that dwarf the son of Tyrion and Tysha?

If so, it is possible that Littlefinger found Tysha and her son from Tyrion in a brothel of Oldtown. Now he can reveal them anytime to make Sansa’s marriage to Tyrion invalid.
