Xray the Enforcer

Injury didn't look too bad (just pulled up sore halfway through his run-up), but he went off almost immediately and was nowhere to be seen afterwards. It's a massive blow given that he was by far the pick of the bowlers in the first session - even if he bats it's still like losing a specialist for the entire game.

Maybe a hammy or back problem? Looks like Quiney will be the first one dropped unless he gets an outrageous score in the second innings.

It's early in the second session...Warner blasting the Proteas all over the place.

ETA: With Kallis now unlikely to bowl again this match, it's a great strategy to get after Tahir. Not enjoying this, but full credit to Australia.

Satisfying in a kind of...grotesque and perverse way??

Bah, kills me to say it, but he's really not that bad...I just generally despise the vast majority of individuals who have donned that Baggy Green during the last two decades :ohwell:.

I know Clarke has a lot of detractors, but watching him get that triple century was rather satisfying for an outsider. :)

He never was one of my fav players (mainly for his off field stuff). Since he got the captaincy he has been an absolute beast though, I'm converted.

Now he just brought up his century :D

The whole of the break was spent talking about Ricky Ponting...his career stats, achievements (golden years) and dismissals, not looking good for him. His been brilliant in Shield cricket though..

After his performances last summer and the dearth of obvious replacements at number 4, I'm not sure he has much to worry about.
