Legitimate Businessman
It seems that the main castle itself engulfs the entire island. Is this the case?
Nezzer
No, those islands are huge. Dragonstone must be the size of Jamaica or Puerto Rico. Pyke must be just as big.
Fat Mac
No. If I understand correctly Dragonstone is a volcanic island, and the castle itself is rather small. There is a village near the castle but at least a couple miles away, and probably other villages around the island as well.Meanwhile, Pyke (the island) is much bigger. Pyke the castle itself is very small as well. Not only this, more than half of Pyke (castle) is over the water. Lordsport, home of house Botley, seems to be a couple miles away from Pyke, and seems to be a relatively large port. There is another town noted, Iron Holt, home of House Wynch, which is in an unknown location in Pyke. So Pyke is pretty big.So yeah, Dragonstone and all of the Iron Islands are much bigger than the castles that sit on them.
