Past Lord Commander of the Nights Watch.

So we know that there will be family trees in the world book that cover at least the recent post conquest history of many of the great houses. My question is will there be any sort of similar list regarding the past Lord Commanders of the Watch?

That seems unlikely going by the sheer number of LC's. I dont think we'll get an enterily complete family tree of the old houses like Stark. Most likely just the recent generations and then the famous Starks.

Same probably goes for LC's. They might make a tree (or more like a line) for the already mentioned LC's.

Let´s see around the officeholders.

Kings - in 283 years of Targaryens, 17 Targaryens

Lord Commanders of Night Watch - 999 in 8000 years. Average time in office 8 years. Not improbable if the candidates who get elected are mostly elderly.

Lord Commanders of Kingsguard - 3 of them must have held the job for over 50 years between them. Duncan, then ser Gerold, then ser Barristan. How about a complete list from Aegon´s time?

Hands. Aerys II had Tywin for most reign - then went through Merrywether, Connington, Chelsted, Rossart.

High Septons... we do not have list of these

And Grandmaesters... Jaehaerys went through 3 elderly ones or so, and then got Pycelle for 40 years.

We have had the complete list of the 17 post-Conquest kings since the first book. How about the timeline of those other officeholders, and their basic backgrounds and characters?
