There's a small SF convention called Picocon on then at Imperial College. I went to it about 5 years ago and it was OK but not so good that I've been back since, however this year they do have an interesting group of guests in Richard Morgan, Peter F. Hamilton, Steph Swainston and Kate Griffin. I've never read anything by Griffin, but I've read every book (with a single exception) by the other three, so I was considering going along. I don't know if anyone else is interested in that (although I suspect Werthead might also find the selection of authors interesting), but it's on fairly early in the day so we could meet up in the early evening if that's convenient with other people?Can forum/BwB/ASOIAF noobs come along, too?Yes, everybody's welcome to come along.
