Robert was a very strong guy in his youth, and some seem to think of him as a beast. He was a beast. When he was furious you had to fear him, but he was also known for his charm.He is a big, blackhaired guy, and he has blue eyes. He's handsome enough to be Robert.There go a few pictures of Henry Cavill for those of you who don't know who he is. He's 6-5, jacked, in his mid to late 20s and certainly looks the part. I also tend to like actors that aren't too well known but that's just me. Razha Posted February 13, 2013 Share Posted February 13, 2013 I think if they decide to have a flashback - they should use Gendry - Joe Dempsie - with beard and grooming to resemble older Robert.Not because Dempsie fits the description of young Robert, but because it will give the justification as to why some random people start to suspect his Baratheon connection. Imagine the fifth sixth season with a 36 year old Jon Snow. No way. There were better choices when it comes to appearence for this character, but I think Kit is doing a good job. Not to mention I'm American and we can't fake accent for shit.Guys like Henry Cavill are too "pretty" for young Robert imo. Though he was supposed to be good looking I feel lie it was in a very primal, rugged masculine way.
