Giving that the books only came out more than a decade ago, and since ASOIAF only became a cultural sensation within the past four or five years. Left Wondering Whether Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 My husband and I have discussed Arya, but the Albanian spelling is Arja or Arjia and I think people would pronounce it "Ar-Jah".
