Talking Hodor
COTF ~ mystical little people living in England prior to humans (leprechauns or fairies or whatever)First Men ~ CeltsAndals ~ SaxonsTargaryen Conquest ~ Norman Conquest Since the history of Westeros loosely equates to the history of England, the language most likely corresponds to English - a mish-mash of a bunch of languages into a common tongue. boojam
Talking about English. When Emilia says "Valahd" from Drogon's back, supposedly David Peterson says she said "Fly" in the ADR. Listing to it with head phones it's sounds like distinctly she mouth's a 'V' sound. The Valyrian used at the end of Season 3 for 'fly' was Sōvētēs, so something was substituted. The HBO GO CC is Valahd. I am sure she is saying 'Valahd' not English 'Fly'. Confusing.
