In Singapore airport about to board the last leg of our flight home. I'll type up a proper report when I'm home and have slept.

:blushing: I am really wondering how funny my accent sounds to native speakers.

It's not your accent - my accent sounds funnier and I am a native speaker - it's the fact you like to sound all your acronyms as a word rather than individual letters. It's endearing.

I had no idea I do that. :blushing: But thanks still.

First time con-goer here and I loved it. It was great meeting you all, just wished I could have met more!

Oh yes, and you are already in the Hall of Shame Fame for giving us the fabulous "Mark reads badfic" which means nobody will ever look at an apple the same way again.

EDIT: Moving Con report to appropriate thread!

oh and possibly the Shadow Company title, which I so blithely told Buckwheat, may have been a load of rubbish I made up. :worried: Apparently it has to have something to do with food, who knew?

I'd still encourage all n00bs to incorporate it in their title - Shadow Company of the Jellied Eels or something. But X-ray will let us know the actual title when she gets a chance.

Shadow Company of the Jellied Eels

Unlike the Free Company of the Dragon Peppers, they didn't have to suffer for their title. I fell on that culinary grenade. :ack:

Well we kinda put shadow in the title as a placeholder since we err kinda forgot to enrole you during the party. Eonly noticed late on Monday afternoon when most people had already left.

But hey since we where in East London then I suggest the following food themes.

Jellied eals,

Cockels

Winkels

Vindaloo

battered its cod if your very lucky

Bangers n mash

I would suggest bangers and mash - it was a popular choice whenever we found ourselves in either of the Foxes.

"Clams, cockles, mussels ... oysters, mussels, clams ..." Arya shouted as she pushed around her wheelbarrow.

I have no idea if she had any eels, though.

Your sacrifice will always be remembered! I think it should be enough that you and the Baroness braved them on behalf of the company.

Drac I was also disappointed we didn't get to meet you. I think we were doing it wrong by going to too many panels >_<

I don't know if you can read too much of the group mindset into Where The Wild Roses Grow, just mine :p I can't sing much other than Nick Cave! I wrecked my throat trying to do Common People justice lol

Pfft, cons are for socialising, not going to panels organised by hard-working people! :p
