There's no contracts for the later seasons, so I would assume that a delay in the series may be written in to the contract depending on where GRRM is with his writing at the time. Some of the people who work on the production frequent these forums and we consider such comments to be in very poor taste.b. Whinging about GRRM's writing speed is tiresome to listen to. If you need something new to read, the Literature forum is full of recommendations and discussion. When there's actual news about a Winds of Winter release date or GRRM updates something to that effect, then there'll be actual information to discuss.c. Discussion of his health and life expectancy is off-limits. Many boarders are his friends or family, and they don't appreciate the speculation.
