[Book spoilers] Queen Talisa

Recommended Posts

Since no one has discussed this so far, I thought I would make a new thread.

So in this episode, we have the big reveal.. well reveal to the Northern bannermen anyway. Curiously enough, there seems to be very little backlash about it.

In the show, Ironborn haven't captured Moat Cailin, Bolton's Bastard seems to have things in control up north. So what is the urgency to go back?

Also, we haven't seen any Frey soldier, and barely any Riverlands soldiers at all. Are they just generically called 'northmen'?

Anyway, Karstark's comment about Robb losing the war because of marrying her just has no context unless you've read the books. That's how I see it.

I don't subscribe to the 'Talisa is a spy' theory. But it is strange that no one from Camp Volantis ( or anyone on the bride's side ) has turned up so far. She did just marry a king you know..

Robb's uncle (aka Edmure) was mentioned for the first time. He says something like 'I need my uncle's soldiers' - so what, did he not have his support till know?

Discuss how things might plan out here..
