Ramin Djawadi and S3E4 [No spoliers]

Recommended Posts

Its been mentioned but I just wanted to note a topic.

He has been good all along , the intro theme being famous now.

Now Episode 4's ending and behind the credits was hit out of the park.

I know it's sort of a rework of E10 Season 1 ending...

but this was zinger!

To me I noticed a touch of Ennio Morricone.

That was great Ramin!

I do not know why you have not won an Emmy (or been nominated) for this show.

I think that the best piece of music from this episode is the score to Theon speaking about Ned being his true father.

Merging the Greyjoy theme and the Stark theme so majestically - it really helped the scene pull at the heart strings.

That being said the ending score was very powerful too.

The soundtrack for season 1 was outstanding. S2 was nice, but not more... I'll have to hear the entire soundtrack for season 3 to have an opinion about it.... hearing it during the episodes can be deceiving. I was not that impressed with the Dracarys song.

I felt that Season 1 was a lot more repetetive, less bold. Compare "What is Dead may Never Die" to almost any track on the Season 1 soundtrack. Or Valar Morghulis.
