Gave it an 8 out of 10. Tyrion was great. His wedding was fun, Sansa was pretty good even. Sam stuff was pretty good. Daario... eh. Underwhelming. Dragonstone was pretty decent, although I could have done without the leech dick.

Gave it a 6. Very good episode. Would be nice if any of these episodes were a full hour. Would have like more Arya/Hound banter. Would have liked a longer time spent with Sam and Gilly. Still, everything was spot on. The wedding was great. Feel so bad for Tyrion and Sansa. Enjoyed the Cersie/Margery conversation, as well as the Queen of Thorns. It was all really good. But I was really expecting some scenes with Robb as they make their way to the Twins. I guess I am really worried they aren't going to do Episode 9 justice. But there were plenty of lines regarding the Rains of Castemere last night so that was fun. The porn scene was okay since it made some sense. Although telling Stannis she needs to be subtle so as to not spoil the meat and then just tying Gendry down and pulling out leeches seemed kind of silly. Not exactly subtle. Dany continues to rock. The Titans Bastard was great. Daario is dreamy so the ladies will like him. Loved the ravens at the end. Coldhands must me near. I can see that as a great season ender with him sitting atop his stag holding out his hands gor Sam and Gilly.

Okay. I'm going to change my vote to a 7. But I am massively pissed about the sub-hour episodes and now we have to wait two weeks for the next episode?!?!?!?!?!? WTF HBO?

It was ok i guess. I gave it an 8.

Finally get to see Sam the Slayer, but nobody there to see it happen!!!!!!! So i dont think he will get given the name in tv.

Too distracted by Danny and Mel and that random whore.

Daario is a clown. So wrong. All i can see is 'teeth'.

yeah that's rather a big pitty... poor Sam

Thought I was watching the paperback cover model Fabio, ehr, Daario. How could Dany like someone prettier than she? He might have worked better for Loras. Didnt seem like too good an actor either.

Id trade a few leeches for sex with Mel anyday. Wind up with a few at the Lake anyway and no sexy time reward. High creep factor on the penis though but no pain except for maybe taking them off that way.

8.5 from me.

I like Sandor, this is the way he came across to me in the books under what he shows to the world. I feel the same way about Tyrion. He is softer in the show for the audiences to understand him.

Like show Stannis better also.

As for next week, I recorded the show and am going to watch it again then.

6/10

Disappointed again. It jumped around from scene to scene with no unity. The dialogue was flat, and there was some clumsy exposition. The second sons leaders can't act. And so much seemed unnecessary. Did Melisandre really have to pretend to sleep with Gendry in order to leech him? Stannis seemed to decide to release Davos on a mere whim. Why didn't the Hound tie Arya up when he went to sleep? Why have Dario sneak into the tent as an assassin when he was going over to her side at that point. Why show the 3 picking coins at all? What were the ravens there for? Why did the White Walker not kill Sam (again)? You can't engage emotionally when things don't make sense.

Wow! A surprised so many people liked it. I changed the channel more than once out of sheer boredom. Oh, and now I absolutely loath show Tyrion. They have stripped the character of basically everything that makes him interesting in the books. I think this will be the last seaon I'll be watching. I give the episode a 5.

Thought this was a really well constructed episode - the scenes had a lot of room to breath and the writing was pretty good.

The Titan's Bastard looked like he would be better suited for Spartacus than GoT but he served his purpose - I found myself really liking Daario (not sure that's a good or bad thing since I didn't like him in the book) but on screen he comes off a bit more likable imo.. I actually pictured Daario in my head to be more like Mero (just not as vulgar I guess) which is why I hated him but as the 'play it cool pretty-boy' he's not so bad.

Seems like Coldhands could make a good final scene of the season to me - the ravens were a bit of foreshadowing for him which was cool and Sam slaying the Other was awesome .. loved how all you could see was the Obsidian dagger with the ice around it just as I imagined when reading it (but Sam didn't pick up the dagger before he left - I can't remember whether or not it's mentioned in the book whether or does or not)

Edit: Gave it an 8 (last week was 7, highest rated were 9's (4 & 5). I don't give 10's really)

I wonder how many non-reader were expecting something to happen to Joffrey last night - the immediate cut from the burning leeches to Joffrey sitting at the wedding reception immediately made me think of that - it also kind of eases the mind about Robb next week (warning signs that we don't heed) since nothing came of Joff/Tyrion's confrontation.

I thought that was a cool scene and HBO get to toss some sex in (don't mind - I'm a big Mel fan in that respect)

8/10

I understand why some people don't like it, but I can't really give this show less than a 6-7 because its just that much better than the rest of TV.

I would also suggest not rating it based on changes between the book and show, because that's stupid, pointless and honestly really petty.

Stannis/Davos had a great scene, I like Dillane's portrayal and how they're adapting Stannis to the screen.

Sansa kneeling is fine, for reasons mentioned earlier. The reception was hilarious in several different fashions.

Marg/Cersei is a fantastic dynamic. I like how Marg is clinging to her with the cheesiest smile on her face while Cersei is talking of executions and strangling her.

No issue with "Meldry". I like boobs, and it goes along with the sheep comparison.

Sam the Slayer was shot fantastically, digging the Randyll reference for later seasons.

Solid episode, not as good as the 3-5 stretch but it held its own with a good focus on key events.

Great episode! I give it 9/10!

Dany scenes were excelent. I found series Daario ten times more interesting than book Daario.

It's the first episode of this season I thoroughly enjoyed, I'm very glad.

Can't wait to see what coldhands is gonna look like!

Any episode that starts off with Sandor or Arya is already an A+ for me. I looked forward to their scenes this year almost as much as Sandor's with Sansa. They've toned him down more, made him even palatable; I've gotten used to it and won't beat that dead horse here. But I love the little hints of some sort of honor just below the surface in TV Sandor, which you really have to scratch hard for to find with book Sandor. I'm constantly amazed at how the child actors and newbies hold their own with veterans. Cersei is still one of my favorite characters, even if she's being humanized. But she was on fire last night with, "If you ever call me sister again, I'll have you strangled in your sleep." Boom! Now that's the Cersei I know and love. I've honestly had it up to here with Margaery's two-faced bullshit - I had sympathy for the book version, none for the snake in the grass on TV. She and Cersei are cut from the same cloth. Daario still isn't interesting to me, but I could get used to looking at this one, almost as much as I enjoyed Jaqen - thanks for the eye candy, D&D. I still miss Moon Boy and Butterbumps. Has anyone seen Ser Dontos lately?
