Interesting that this broken set is being pitched as more attractive than it really is.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/George-RR-Martin-Game-of-Thrones-Meisha-Merlin-Subterranean-Press-Signed-Limited-/231835005671?

I wonder why the seller isn't including the SubPress versions of GoT and ACoK.

Edit: A little research would have revealed the answer to my question.

Good luck, MacDaddy! Wishing you godspeed. Sorry you couldn't get the SubPress versions at the time.

I think he definitely started that set too high and the slipcases look a bit worn on Storm and Feast plus the slight damage to the book.

personally, based on what ive seen on this board and elsewhere in the market 10k seems high especially without the MM editions to go with it. Even then, 10k still seems a stretch to me.

*edit - i dont mean that as a form of complaint/jealously/ etc...only an opinion! As a "full set" owner, it makes me happy.

Marcus--do you have pictures of the Meisha Merlin edition of a Storm of Swords?  I imagine that might be the rarest book in the whole collection.

Another full Subpress Set up on the bay for 10k.  Am I the only one who thinks this is too high?  (Full disclosure, mine is going for significantly less). 10k just seems too high.  Someone convince me otherwise.

I'm the guy with the $10k priced Sub Press matching set on ebay, and I thought I'd weigh in here about my thoughts on pricing for my ebay listing:

I priced it high, but I don't expect anyone to buy it outright at that price any time soon. I have the best offer option and I don't mind entertaining lesser offers. I'm not particularly eager to sell and I like having and building upon the set. I'm a collector, but I just want it to be out there to let people know it is available for the right price.
