While in Harrenhal, Tywin was talking about going after Robb in the night and decided to ride out with his soldiers. Then all of a sudden he shows up at the Battle of Blackwater Bay with House Tyrell. How did it go from a night raid to saving King's Landing? Was this a trick to keep it secret from potential spies? I understand that it was meant to be a surprise for the viewer but it was actually a bit confusing. No book spoilers please. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One about going to a battle, and another one about Robb's actions.If you rewatch the scene you can pick out the 2 different things.It's a common way to confuse the reader that Agatha Christie used a lotI missed it the first time too.
