giant snake Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I think he is the archetype of the spineless politician that goes with the wind.I'm sure that, by the rules of the Citadel, he deserves to be de-chained. Stannis would definitely be the man to do it, but really any king should be wise enough to. Obviously Varys knew that he was not loyal either to the ruler in the Red Keep or to a more vague Realm.
