deleted01
Just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, which I downloaded on impulse a week or so ago thanks to the board. I really enjoyed it, I liked the constant twists and the not knowing if Nick was telling the truth in his narrative. Great book.
David Selig
I've been reading Kate Elliott's Spiritwalker trilogy in the last few weeks, finished it yesterday. It was really good overall. Some plot problems (too many twists at times and some of them too predictable) mostly in the first book, but the three main characters are among the very best I've read in all fantasy, and the worldbuilding is really impressive. I loved the really strong bond between the two main female characters and that unlike so often in stories where romance is an important part, the bond remained just as strong and important to them once one of them fell strongly in love with a man and the romance developed. The development of the main male character Andevai throughout the series is also remarkable, especially considering he's never a PoV.There's also a great banter in the series, lightening the mood when necessary. Highly recommended overall.
