Lady Gwynhyfvar
If SR and Harry the heir dies, do the Cadet branch of the Arryns ( Baelish's friends in Gulltown) inherit the Eyrie? We don't exactly know, but I have the funniest feeling the Gulltown Arryns are more than his friends-- I strongly suspect there's one in his family tree. Mr. Walder
When Theon is at the heart tree in Winterfell he hears the tree calling his name with the rustle of leaves. Is this Bran talking to him like he did to Ned when he saw him through weirwood network?

Lord Bronn of Sunspear
Is it ever mentioned who Aegon V or Jaehaerys II took for a wife? All i could find was that the father and his sons all married for love, and the only lover that comes to mind is Jenny of Oldstone (Duncan's)

Wouldnt both be considered great powers and not be (politically) pointless marriages? Any idea on when we might see another D&E?
Lost Melnibonean
What the heck were the Valyrians mining from active volcanoes?ETA: Oh never mind--red gold, yellow gold and silver.
WildBlood
What the heck were the Valyrians mining from active volcanoes?ETA: Oh never mind--red gold, yelloe gold and silver. From the wiki: As they grew in power the Valyrians sent their slaves to the mines beneath the Fourteen Flames, searching for gold among other things. Men of a hundred different nations laboured in those mines. The worst slaves were sent down to die in the red darkness of the mines. But also on the wiki it says the dragons were discovered in the 14 flames, so maybe they also searched for more dragons. Ser Creighton
We don't exactly know, but I have the funniest feeling the Gulltown Arryns are more than his friends-- I strongly suspect there's one in his family tree. It's probably unlikely that the Arrys of Gulltown are in line, they are a distant branch and ignored by the rest of the familly. It's possible that Petyr has relative in the Gulltown Arryns but I would not count on it. The Gulltown Arryns were known to wed Merchants to help increase there wealth.Petyr is Braavosi, His grandfather came to Westeros as a sell sword hired by house Cobray which seems to be Petyrs real allies for his plot with the Vale. Anyway Petyr's father eventually became a landed Knight and was awarded the Fingers. Both the Cobray's and the Braavosi Baelishe's were dirt poor, not much incentive for the rich merchant seeking Arryn's of Gulltown.Petyr's tie to Gulltown began when Lysa had him appointed as head of Customs in Gulltown which Petyr excelled at. This is where he began to make his connections. Later in the series he shows tis when he arranges the marriage of Lrod Cobray to a rich merchants daughter. Thus helping out the Cobrays who are among the poorest Lords in the Vale. Which I always find odd as they have a rather distinguished history.Given his families short and poor history in Westeros, it seems doubtful his father or grandfather married one of the rich Arryns of Gulltown. The Hardings are currently next in line for the Vale so Harolds other family members would be ahead of the Arryns of Gulltown including the one who is Married to a Frey. The Frey's really need to die.
Jossy
In a Game of Thrones Jory tells Ned about the goings of Jon before his death:The potboy, now cordwainer, had never exchanged so much as a word with Lord Jon, but he was full of oddments of kitchen gossip: the lord had been quarreling with the king, the lord only picked at his food, the lord was sending his boy to be fostered on Dragonstone, the lord had taken a great interest in the breeding of hunting hounds, the lord had visited a master armorer to commission a new suit of plate, wrought all in pale silver with a blue jasper falcon and a mother-of-pearl moon on the breast. The king’s own brother had gone with him to help choose the design, the potboy said. No, not Lord Renly, the other one, Lord Stannis.Later Ned remarks about how armor is made for protection not ornament. So does this mean Jon arryn was planning to go to war with Stannis against the Lannisters?

So does this mean Jon arryn was planning to go to war with Stannis against the Lannisters?Possible, but I don't think so. Ned's sentiments don't have to be the same as Jon Arryn's on that matter, and even if they are, Jon Arryn needed a cover story to visit Tobho Mott. That was it. Ser Creighton
Does anybody knows were robert and joffrey are buried ?Robert did not want to be buried at the Great Sept because that is where Targs are burried so his remains were sent to Storms End.Joffrey Baratheon was buried at the Gret Sept. Slackylc
Was Catelyn actually hit with an arrow in the books like in the show? The text is a little unclear as to why she fell. She ran toward her son, until something punched her in the small of her back and the hard stone floor came up to slap her.Later her back is described as being "on fire" and talks about how she has to crawl, so it sounds like she was hit by a quarrel.
