Never thought of it , you are tottally right , in fact all these Lannister boys are the same but they don't know it. As Tyrion said to his father in their last scene he is like a small him. Also , Tyrion saw what he wanted. Also don't forget that many times he said to himself that all this Shae thing was wrong , but he liked it , he wanted to feel loved.
