You might last a little longer than in Horza's version but probably not much.
simhanada
Haven't been on here for awhile, hope everyone is doing well!Apparently my wife texted me yesterday about GRRM and Dinklage doing a talk at the wheeler centre in Melb in November but I didn't see it. Did anyone manage to get tickets? Any spares floating around out there?Grrr! owell. I hope today isn't a bad things comes in threes day, no GRRM, Tony Abbott as PM, surely the third must be the apocalypse, which may actually be good considering the first two... hmmmm

delete this account pls
I saw a guy at the polling station drinking a beer. I didn't know we could do that!Edit: i've been voting sober all these years like some sort of sucker.
Warg Arry
I didn't know that either.I mean I have been on the drunkish side a couple of times some years ago. But that was pre-voting drinks. But drink while voting. That man is some kind of genius.
Horza
Dude rocked up at my polling station seriously expecting that there'd be someone handing out HEMP Party how-to-votes. Also an actual, living, breathing WikiLeaks Party stall worker, so I got to (politely) tell him what he could do with his HTV guide.
Jeor
Did the dirty deed and voted, here in my blue ribbon seat of Bradfield. It struck me that there seems to be a massive generational divide over this. All the statuses I see on facebook, the board here as well, twitter, whatnot...everything is talking about how terrible Tony Abbott is and how this is going to be a disaster with him as PM. Going by the technosphere, you'd have thought it was a landslide to Labor, and yet the Coalition is probably going to take this easily. While that might be fun for them, the Coalition is going to have to appeal to younger voters at some point otherwise they're going to be electorally wiped out down the track (unless these young voters turn conservative later on, which is also possible). Callum
What really concerns me is that people are actually voting for the Palmer United Party. I just assumed they'd put there hat in the ring this time, then just slink away after not getting anywhere...

Stubby
Queenslanders have voted in alarmingly large numbers for the PUP. Maybe they thought it was Micahel Clarke standing for election?
Warg Arry
Queenslanders have voted in alarmingly large numbers for the PUP. Maybe they thought it was Micahel Clarke standing for election? As a Queenslander I can neither confirm nor deny this. All I know is I didn't and no one around me is admitting to it. Stubby
Palmer himself looks like he's in. Rudd doesn't look like he'll lose his own seat. One high profile Labor bloke that is out is Warren Snowdon.
