The Starks regaining the North is cool, and I kinda hope it happens as grrm has made it clear that Ramsay is a monster and needs to be subdued and I am kind of OK with Jon being revealed to be a Targ and sharing power/influence with Dany on the Iron Throne but the Starks inheriting the vale, the Riverlands or anywhere else will be weak as fuck and just pandering to the overwhelming majority rather than keeping it true to its source.

Exactly. Just as childish as saying it's ruined if your favorite character doesn't get what they want. We all know my favorite character can't win if the story is to be told in the most believable way possible and I accept that.

Lord Baelish, I think you are selling yourself short. I don't think it would be unbelievable if somehow you were able to survive the game. After all, you made this far. ;)
