~DarkHorse~ Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 If we're talking about who would play Lyanna on the show (flashback or prequel series) then you'd have to go with an actress who looks like Kit Harrington (assuming R+L=J is true). It's pretty clear that show Jon doesn't look like Ned so he has to take after his mother, especially if they're sticking to Rhaegar's Targaryen appearance (violet eyes and silver hair) which is too fair to explain Jon's brown eyes and black hair. Anyway, I agree Katie would make a good Lyanna, especially because she's also a fan of the books and did well at playing a feisty lady (Morgana before she went bat shit crazy). Well, the Targaryens don't have violet or indigo eyes in the show, because the contact lenses they tried to use proved too distracting. Show!Dany has greyish green eyes and show!Viserys had hazel eyes. Eye color is not a distinguishing trait of show Targaryens, and the show version of Rhaegar could have brown eyes. Rhaegar I Targaryen Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 I think Orlando Bloom and Kit Harrington look quite similar. That said, I would never want to see Rhaegar played by Bloom. OTOH, Lyanna is an absolute badass rumored to be the mystery knight who fought in a tourney. I think it's Lyanna's personality that so captivated Rhaegar, and maybe that prophesy bit, not her looks.
