US Politics: It’s Not A Crime If Your Feelings Got Hurt

True. Very embarrassing to have cited this particular article and cited it. My mistake and you were right to point it out. This is an article should have used: https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/health-news/the-latest-california-vaccine-exemption-bill-advances/ar-BBWgtO6?OCID=ansmsnnews11

    Aegon, Warden of the North

Actually the "real" jon that @MinscS2 seem to refer to would be book Jon. He's actually a smart cookie, able to deal with Stannis diplomatically, gets a loan for the NW and ships for Hardhome out of Tycho Nestoris of the Iron Bank to secure food, manages to acquire 100 child hostages of the wildlings as part of the terms to allow them through, and have them surrender all their valuables to pay the Iron Bank or buy food with, deals with Selyse as well as wildling "princess" Val who fetches Tormund and his followers for him beyond the Wall, and almost all clan leaders who gave him their sons as hostage may not bend the knee to him, but vouch themselves to him in person, despite the fact they all know he was only pretending to be a wildling and remained a crow, and he arranges a marriage between runaway Alys Karstark and the Magnar of Thenn, creating a new united future Karstark House. Real Jon's issue is that he sent those whom he could trust to be on his side away to man other castles, while underestimating the danger the stubborn biggots within castle black pose to him. But hey, Caesar got caesared too, after all. show-Jon is a rather dumbed down version who is at most a two-dimensional character, rather than a 3d one. So, I would have to agree with @MinscS2 that the "real" Jon would choose his timing in such a scenario far more carefully - fire wight or no fire wight - at the very least.

Sure, but reading scouting reports a lot of people say he doesn't hit guys in stride and has an occasional big miss on mid-range throws.

    Electric Cars - Advise?

I’ve had a Nissan Leaf for almost five years and the battery degradation issues seem overblown from my perspective, but it is a risk. There’s a good chance that buying a certified preowned Nissan may have better protection for you against battery degradation. my leaf has about forty thousand miles, one “bar” of capacity loss (equal to about 8 percent, or six or seven miles of lost capacity), and so is in pretty good shape. but I’m a pretty normal driver a lot of nutty electric drivers do it for the torque and performance and so drive the cars with the petal to the metal 100% of the time (this “lets murder people” sports car mentality is why all Tesla’s all come with special battery cooling mechanisms so everyone can drive at ultra death speeds all the time). additionally overusing DC quick charging can reduce battery capacity, but nissans battery health check can tell you how often that’s been done. So you can probably use an app and code reader to extract the same info on a used car. tesla users have a lot of voodoo and magical thinking about batteries and charging to only mythy percent and other stuff, none of which has ever mattered to my Leaf, mostly this seems like a convenient lie to give Tesla owners the peaceful delusion that they have control over battery degradation based on minor nighttime charging behavior (therefore they don’t have to modify murderous sports car behavior). Hilariously, they’re functionally self limiting their capacity with they’re mythical sub 100% levels which makes them even less likely to know any actual lost capacity.

    Undead Viserion

So he is a White Walker dragon and not a wight? Then why do his wings show signs of decay? This is all very confusing. https://io9.gizmodo.com/a-game-of-thrones-script-has-seemingly-settled-that-big-1828235752
  7. Interesting... I had immediate Outlander vibe... I love both renditions. Male voice brought that doomsday feeling, much like Pippin's song, while female version is breathtakingly emotional and private. They both work marvelously in different ways.

Yeah, the coat incident looks bad, FOR THE COACH, which is why he got fired. Oliver could have punched him in the face over that and I’d still argue he was in the right. He’s a career 70% passer through 22 games.

    Avengers Endgame- SPOILERS

Just got back. It was amazing. Not sure about some of the time loops being closed. Loki making off with the Tesseract, Thanos and his army gone etc. Also unless all of Peter's classmates were snapped, at least half of them should be five years older now. And my big question, who was that guy stood by himself at the funeral? I think he was behind the Guardians and in front of Maria.

Giants’ bane and other fun predictions

If Brienne dies and can see them bonding and having a bit of a bromance. There's a certain something about two worthy fighters, one one of the most spoilt men in Westeros and the other a freefolk becoming pally in the new age.

I'm not a scout, but Haskins is not an appealing prospect to me. I felt like he was really good when things were going well for Ohio State, but if things were going poorly he was a nonfactor. That plus questionable accuracy adds up to a shaky qb to be taking in the first round.
  14. Two staggering Westbrook stats: In the 16 playoff games he’s played since Durant left, Russ has only shot at or above 50% one time. In Russ’ last five playoff elimination games, he’s miss 100 shots.

    Episode 3 preview

Given the titles of the final two books, i’m thinking the next episode really could see most of the night kings army defeated. I think Sam, Jon, Jorah, Brienne, Jamie, Tormund & Arya will all dispose of the knight kings generals leading to many of the wights falling. Obviously in the process most of the unsullied & Dothraki will be wiped out, as well as many Northerners defending Winterfell. There still seems way too much to pack into the final episodes, in the way of stories & deaths, for the Winds of Winter (which for me will mainly be the North battling the Night King) to go beyond episode 4. Then leaving a paltry two episodes for the Dream of Spring story line ... which surely is the downfall of Cersei & the top & tailing of the whole story. I wished they made this 10 episodes and even another season to follow and properly told the story, guess the fact they only have the bones of the story and not the meat that is not yet written is a big hinderance!

What if the Mad Mouse is actually Howland Reed?

I think this is an interesting theory, and one of the more plausible ways to introduce Howland Reed into the story in a way that fits meaningfully into existing plots. I did some searching to see if any other readers analyzed this possibility, this essay by @Blue-Eyed Wolf is really good and adds a lot of evidence for Howland being Shadrich. Main points of interest, are how Shadrich's responses about gold could have been to suss out Brienne's true intentions towards Sansa (he clearly felt the other two knights with her were frauds, but questioned her without revealing himself) and how his fighting style matches what we know of Howland (He's not a tourney knight and couldn't avenge himself against the squires who bullied him. However, he is an able fighter, and saved Ned's life at the Tower of Joy).

NFL Offseason 2019: Gettleman Browns all over the Giants

Oliver is probably because of character issues. There was the incident with his coach at Houston over the coat, and more recently I saw Philly took him off their board because his interview went so badly.
  22. It's unlikely that we will get a fee nearly as big as that because De Gea is out of contract in 2020. I doubt Real Madrid would sign him even if they offload Courtois - Zidane likes Navas and has made him 1st choice again. They also have Andriy Lunin on the books who looks very promising and has had a good season on loan at Leganes. If DDG leaves, my guess is that PSG would be the most likely destination.

Giants’ bane and other fun predictions

Haha, oh, yes, I can see that competition between Torumnd and Jaime as a good way to add a bit of humour to the next episode. I like it. A few more stray thoughts: Arya asked Jon how he survived the knife in the heart. She also had a chat with Beric and the Hound where Beric’s many lives were mentioned. She is piecing together Jon’s revival story and has some role to play in where fire magic heads from here it seems. I now believe Dany is going to lose both of her favorite advisors. Tyrion said to Cersei that Dany listens to advisors that restrain her worst instincts. But when those advisors are gone...? So either Tyrion and Jorah both die next episode, or she loses one of them a different way soon after. BUT Tyrion is now the only person to sit and listen to Bran other than Sam. Who knows how much was said, but it seems less likely that Tyrion will die in light of that conversation.

What should we expect from the Vale?

My (incomplete) theory at this point is that 1) Harry will die. LF will have (little)fingers in his death. 2) LF will or will try to arrange the marriage of Sansa and fAegon. With the combined armies of the Vale and fAegon, they will attack the Riverlands and LF gets the real power as the lord of Harrenhall. 3) Sweetrobin will die at some point. His death will be directly caused by LF who orders the maester to give even more sweetsleep to SR. It is mentioned in the books somewhere that sweetsleep doesn't leave the body, so I suppose that the sweetsleep in SR's body will cumulate to this point it kills him. LF eventually finds out that SR was in fact his son and that he caused the death of his own child. No idea how LF will handle the situation when both Harry and SR are dead. 4) Sansa will cause LF's fall (not sure if it will be death, or not) using the tricks and schemes what she learnt from him. Now I'm getting into really wild speculations : 5) Sansa will get pregnant by fAegon or by Harry. One or another, the father of the child will die and LF will try to marry Sansa himself to 1) get Sansa, 2) send a big FU to the Starks and the Tullys, 3) control the heir of Vale / fAegon's army. 6) LF will get on the Iron Throne or very very close to it at some point. 7) As Sansa grows older and experienced in politics, she takes the (Vale?) army to the North to defeat the Boltons and reclaim Winterfell.
