    Arya is Azor Ahai

Have you read the books? Using this shat show to try and make this point is ridiculous. There is no way Arya is the true (read GRRM books) PTWP. NO WAY! D&D are only doing what they are doing for shock and twist value ONLY.

Why. That will do. You’ll only need larger doses! Ah-fucking-Men!

I’m going to miss this show

I'll probably miss more the community around this show than the show itself since I consider to be mediocre/bad since season 4. I'll miss the clever reviews and reminisce the expectations I had for some moments and reveals, not the disappointment that came after though.

Season 8: News, Spoilers And Leaks

They won't be. Then again Kathlean Kennedy has a record of hiring and firing writers/directors for Lucassfilm. We don't really know what D&D can do outside of this to be honest wouldn't say this is something SW needs to get away from yet. Before Last Jedi I would have said Rian Johnson a great knew scfi director is exactly what SW needed with a new take and looked how that turned out ( I liked it but know many hated it).

I’m going to miss this show

I completely agree. Despite the missteps made in the last couple of seasons, this still feels like the end of an era for me. I'm forever grateful for being immersed into this wonderfully complex World with it's equally complex characters. Sunday nights just won't feel the same after this.
  11. The Shield is my personal favorite. Just a perfect ending to a great series. I also like the end of The Wire. It's not as fantastic as The Shield's end but I think the final montage was about as good as it gets.

"Bittersweet" can't happen in the show

With three minutes to go, I am even less hopeful about this finale. It's the last ever episode and I can't help but think there's going to be enough content to rant for ages - disappointment knows no boundaries with D&D. Bitter sweet may be too late now or if possible may be some compensation towards how bad this season was. That's if they can get it right.
  13. Well that's kind of what I was proposing. You get each of the houses to meet and vote for their Warden every 2 years. Said Warden is then a candidate to rule the country. Then on the 4th year all the houses throughout Westero's vote on which of the 4 Wardens they wish to rule the country. But this would only really work if they managed to get all of Westeros to mingle/relocate, as northerners will always vote for the Warden of the North etc... however if they managed to break down the divide and had families living in whatever part of the country they liked.. it would be a much less biased vote. I'm using Jon Snow as an example, he was chosen by the North to be King however from his time beyond the wall he also gained a lot of allies and if he was to settle in with the Wildlings he would also be a popular choice behind Tormund for King beyond the Wall. But this is due to him not saying solely in the north he moved around met other people they got to know him... made up their own mind because of the man he showed he was to them not based on stories.

And OzzyMan's... Those 2 every episode have kept me sane at times.

Who will die in the last episode?

Dany, greyworm and Sansa. Maybe Jon.
  16. St. Elsewhere's was bad, Quantum Leap's was good.
  17. Haha, well they should take what he has to say serious then - he's a veteran. It's very true that if there isn't a new book anytime soon then our sanity will be highly questionable.
  18. The first four seasons were fine. It fell apart after that and the ending was outright insulting. If the fourth season finale had been the final episode I think it'd be remembered as one of TV's all time great endings.

Protagonist suddenly goes crazy in last chapter of epic

I'm glad you feel the same way, it truly is a reflection of how disappointing this season has been. Exactly, the end point may be the same but the journey is what's most important. When it comes to GRRM we are on that journey with the characters involved whereas with D&D it's very instant with a lot of missing details. D&D will do whatever they want to regardless of whether it makes sense or not. At least we know when it comes to the Others in the books we will get a better understanding of them, it's yet to be covered in detail. In the series it was so rushed, a lot of build up to then just get them over and done with. I mean as much as there is foreshadowing and her demise seeming inevitable., it may not be as simple as defeating KL then burning everything. There may be some time on the throne or she may have to kill some people she loves herself. We may actually resonate with the idea or understand why she did what she did or why she ended up the way she did. It just can't be as simple as it is in the series. Of course there's a lack of motivation when you think that she will just be another Targaryen that has died due to some of the sterotypical things they are defined by. However I think it will be an interesting journey and we know GRRM can take us there. I look forward to it because I'm hopeful that it will make the series seem like a complete stranger. I get why you don't want to read pages on her downfall and that your expectations of her are different yet it may end up being that way or her loss may not be somebody else's gain. We can't just let the series ruin it for us, the books (if they release) will have to revive that feeling that made us interested in the first place. Regardless of whether some outcomes remain the same, learning a lot more and understanding more character arcs will change everything.

    Prediction for finale

I guess if Tyrion survives then he will. If not, then Bronn doesn't get his castle and multiple seasons of backing the wrong horse FINALLY catches up to him.
  21. My brother and my son loved Dexter (brother even named his puppy Dexter), and got me to watch it, but I just couln't get into it. Now I wanna know what my brother thought of it!

    Prediction for finale

Who's gonna give him a castle? He may have backed the wrong horse here..
  23. Pandean

Who will die in the last episode?

Dany or Jon or both will die. At least one of them. Possibly Grey Worm. I think Sansa, Bran, Arya, etc. will make it. Tyrion is most likely going to survive but he might also die.
  24. Dexter is the worst. By far.

Season 8: News, Spoilers And Leaks

The closer the ep is the more depressed I get… It just feels to an awful conclusion to the saga..
  26. Pandean

    Prediction for finale

Sansa becomes either Queen in the North/Wardenness in the North/in general remains ruler of the North Dany dies, either by Arya or Jon. I'm hedging on Jon because it's more tragic. And it can't be Arya wearing Jon's face because he'd have to be dead for that to happen. Tyrion stands trial and somehow survives, probably because Dany dies, and does...something. Finally gets Casterly Rock or whatever. Bran wargs into Drogon and that's why Drogon doesn't roast everyone on trial. Jon rejects the throne and someone else gets it. Probably someone who doesn't deserve it or makes no sense. Bronn finally gets his fucking castle and fucks off never to be heard from again until Highgarden is in shambles because wtf did they expect with Bronn Arya goes off to travel with Gendry in tow
