Ice and fire freak
This is only my second post so forgive me if this has been touched on before.Ever since I read the first book GoT I was amazed by the sheer scale and scope of the history of this world where a song of Ice And Fire is set.One of the clever parts is the Age of Heroes and just like our own Pre flood tales it's shrouded in mystery. The first similarity is the first men obviously and also that it was written down way after the event like Moses writing about Pre flood,in it(genesis)he writes of the Nephelim who bore sons and were called the mighty ones,The Men of Fame, some have surmised that this is where the Greek gods and stories came from,The Age of Heroes has similar tales that like our own are in mystery but are still told to the present day in the books. After all this in Babylon we had Nimrod ect burning their own children in a purifying act very similar to Mels religion, the Seven thing goin on in Westeros is cool as well as its said that seven is a perfect number. As much as I like Tolkein I think the History that GRRM has created is vast and like our own in some ways,is it returning to what it was like when those Heroes roamed Westeros?cant wait to find out.
