Ned would have still have been made hand of the king at some point to Robert because Ned was Roberts friend and Brandon was not. So likely Ned would still have been killed by Joffrey. If both brothers or brandon found Lyanna would he have taken Jon as a son ? would he go to war with the lannisters declaring the north independent or would he join stannis or renly ?
