Renly was the true steel

big fan of the books started watching the show have currently stopped watching the show after season 5 

about my name we all know Donal Noye's quote about the Baratheon brothers and most will agree he was pretty wrong Robert was at anything except fighting terrible and whatever i think about Stannis he's the most resilient but the thing he and most of the fandom get wrong in my opinion is underestimating Renly ok agreeable he usurped his brother and wasn't as accomplished military wise but i will defend this stance until the end of time every thing would have been better had Stannis surrendered and let him be king i'd be glad to elaborate for anyone who wants an explanation but short version he could have ended the war much quicker and cleaner
