  1. 7 for me, people will completely overreact and give it a 0, let's be honest it wasn't a bad episode at all was it? It was an average finale

Also I can already imagine the lady stoneheart complaints, can we try and rate what was in the episode not what wasn't.

  2. I know what's going to happen but I thought the cliffhanger was very well done, my only problem is how they're going to squeeze everything into the final episode, I've said since S01 these should be 12 episodes with double premiers and double finales.

Absolutely loved the long shot of Jon getting off the lift panning all around to Sam, overall a 9 for me.

  3. Missandei and Grey Worm: 9/10 I really liked this although it isn’t in the books. I disagree with the people saying this is useless filler and just another love story. This is a guy that has been a slave for his entire life. For the first time in his life he is starting to feel something for someone with this same kind of horrible history. Then he comes to realise that these feelings are useless because he has been cut. Hard to imagine how this must feel.

It's not that I think it's useless filler, everything on the show has a purpose, it's just that with only 10 hours a season to work with, and so much material that doesn't get used it just seems like a waste of time, each to their own I guess though

  4. 9 for me

Let down only by the length of the duel, normally I don't complain because of the time constraints of the season, but after all the useless crap we had to sit through to only have the trail being only 7-8 minutes? No thanks.

What time they did have was great though, managed to really get the viewers into think Oberyn was going to win, for a time I was thinking 'hold on they're actually going to have him win this'.

  5. Well no not necessarily, yes new characters get added but a few character's/storylines are also getting taken away in the near future. The entire Robb Stark king of the North arc is now gone, the Jon/Ygritte storyline will soon be finished,Tywin, Joffrey, and Shae will also be gone soon along with a few others here and there. HBO will find a way to make it work....

True I still think they'll be adding more than taking away, as you say though HBO are the masters at this they'll make it work

  6. If anything this episode showed a huge problem they are going to have in the future seasons when more characters arrive, the more viewpoints we get the less time we will get from them (This was the longest episode of the season I believe and it still seemed a bit rushed), unless they have longer episodes or (WHAT I HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR SINCE SEASON 2) 12 episode seasons with a double premier and double finale.

  7. I'm really disappointed.

Dany's scene was boring as hell

    No coldhands

    No LS....I'm so PISSED

Jon's return was terrible. But I did love the ygritte scene.

Why is Yara going to the Dreadfort!

No Jamie and Cersi banging on Joffreys coffin.

Urgh I can't wait for next season.

How would Joffrey be dead? The Martells haven't even arrived yet

  8. No Coldhands: You really think they're going to cast someone so they could have 10 seconds in this season? No they'll properly cast the guy and we'll see him in the next season not take a gamble on someone.

No LS: She isn't there in the books, Cat only died 2 seconds ago why bring her back now? Will make it much better when she returns next season.

Although I didn't really enjoy the Danny scene at the end I have this theory they are finishing in certain ways:

    S1: Dragons

    S2: White walkers

    S3: Dragons

S4 will end at the wall somehow

and so on and so forth, a slight nod to the 'Ice and Fire' if you like

  9. After seeing it for a second time I thought an eight, Salvers Bay, Kings Landing and Dragon Stone are easily my favorite areas of this season can't get enough of them, couldn't care less about Jon and Sam their stories don't get good till the end of book three, looking forward to the Red Wedding just because I'm sick to death of Robb Talisa scenes. Did miss Theon and the Bastard this episode but I suppose there's only so much torturing they can show before it loses it's shock value.

  10. 7 Nothing really wrong with it though nothing great, quite disappointing GRRM has been wasted directing this episode. At first I thought this season would be quite action packed from ep 4-the end of s04, staring to wonder if we will even see Danny's attack this season.

Thought the Theon scenes have been really good, was not sure how they would do those.

  11. Gave it an 8, more build than I would have liked and too much from characters I couldn't care less about. I understand why we need to catch up with Sam and Bran but why haven't we caught up with Davos and Bronn. Enjoyed it though, and as I've said for the last 5 episodes, bring on the next

  12. Watching it again I enjoyed it Anguy is cool, shame Thoros is off that terrible Betvictor advert.

Pretty sure that was the bastard saying he was going to help Theon, free him and hunt him down.

Only problem is we're 2 episodes in and not an awful lot has happened, Jamie and Brienne have been caught, Ayra's been found out.

Apart from that Jon's walking about a bit with the wildlings, Sam's walked about a bit with the nights watch, Tyrion and Cerrsie have just talked. Hopefully it'll begin to gather some steam from now on, preview for next week looks like Danny will get her Spartans... I mean unsullied

  13. 8/10 for me

Lots of people abusing it saying it doesn't stay true to the books. Well if you've read the books it would make a pretty boring series wouldn't it?

Much better than the first, too many different angles though, I think we'll often see episodes without 2-3 main character view points (Ayra, Bran, Jamie in ep1/ Daenerys, Stannis ep 2).

I'm going to watch it again now, edit this when I've seen it again

  14. Just watching back I remember a comment about Dontos being scrapped. I still think he could be in, he could in the heat of the moment get Sansa out and turn out to be Littlefinger's plan all along. TV only viewers might not click on, I think they ruined it by bringing up the fact that Littlefinger is trying to get her away in the first episode, some people may have forgot that from the end of the second season, but bringing it up again it sort of spoils it.

  15. 7

I thought we'd get at least something from the battle on the fist of the first men, instead just the aftermath.

I always thought they should make it 12 episodes with a double premier and double finale, and this made me think it even more. Nothing really happened, no Ayra, no Bran, no Jamie. But then what can you do with 55 mins? Looking forward to next weeks though.

EDIT: Forgot about the giants, them and the dragons looked awesome

  16. Did anyone else love how the Other/White Walker looked at Sam?

WW: Who the devil are you?

    Sam: *whimper*

WW: Gross, you're not even worth the crust off my ice.

    Also, 100th post, yay.

This was my biggest criticism, either have Sam go unnotice or have him use the Dragon glass and kill the other. Just having him sat there whimpering was stupid, the others are supposed to be heartless bastards
