Pre-ordered "The Lands of Ice and Fire"!

First day of school. Winter has come.

Spent all morning telling myself how I would do my homework in the afternoon. Spent half the afternoon drawing a realistic portrait of the battle at the Trident, and will probably spend the other half sleeping.

Looking at the coffee stains on my copy of "A Game of Thrones" makes me think of the times when opening the book was the first thing I did in the morning. And it all happened nine months ago. I think that if I'd started reading in 1996 these stains would make me cry.

I dumped my girlfriend. She'd cheated on me. I was seriously thinking I could say "A good act does not wash out the bad, nor a bad act the good. Each should have its reward". Even if I didn't in the end, I think my ASoIaF disease is getting worse and worse.

Last night I dreamt my brother told me, "Hey, The Winds of Winter is out!". And I said, "It's impossible, GRRM said it won't be out until 2014!" . And he said "It's out now!" and we ran to the bookshop and it was there, a yellow cover with a sword... Then I woke up.

Beginning "The Hedge Knight". I'm so glad Westeros is more than just five books.
