Momoski
I have read all books quite a while ago and dont have time to reread them again. There is a particular part in one of the books in which someone (maybe Littlefinger, can't remember) gives a monologue. In my own words it is something like this: Who will remember the peasants, countless soldiers etc of all the past wars. They are not mentioned in the songs. The kings and noblemen will be the topic of heroic songs. The "people" and their suffering will soon be forgotten about. If someone does remember something like this, please tell me which book and chapter. Thank you very much!
Valyrian Steel Sack
I think you may be talking about the speech that Septon Meribald gives in Feast. It is in a o chapter, but I don't remember which one exactly. Here's a link to an excellent audio version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sjZHxEZnmE
