bluerex
I just wondering what kind of force he had left after the devastating defeat at the Blackwater. He had a big chunk of Storms End, part of the Reach, and all Dragonstone on his back. So quite a few men at one point.
strifed169
I think around 1-2 thousand men
King_In_The_North
He had 1.3k men at Dragonstone, so I think he took all but 100 to hold Dragonstone (ie 1.2k men).
bluerex
Wow, he must have had at least 20K men when he assaulted Kings Landing.
zmflavius
Wow, he must have had at least 20K men when he assaulted Kings Landing.Yup, but most of them deserted him, and he lost others to battle and the fire-ships on the Blackwater.
Viper89
what gets me is this 1.2k of Stannis's men managed to wipe out how many thousands of wildlings pretty easily

It's one of the best medieval gaming combat simulators, assuming you have an opponent who's not the retarded AI, but in this case, it doesn't really matter.Sending a few units of Feudal Knights against a horde of peasants with wildling levels of military experience and equipment is a recipe for massacre. It was a rout within minutes.
