The Night Before the Game of Thrones Season 2 Premier

It was the Night before Season 2 and all through my house,

Not a creature liked King Joffrey, not even a mouse,

The snacks are by the television all decorated with care,

In hopes that fellow Game of Thrones fans will soon bet there.

I put on my black breeches and my golden and black tunic top,

I put on my belt, my plastic long sword that I got from the costume shop,

I pretend to be a character on the show or in the book,

My wife thinks I am crazy, a sold out kook!

I get ready for the villains Queen Cersei, Lord Tywin and Melisandre of Asshai,

I go outside and offer my neighbors the opportunity to stop by,

and celebrate with me the greatness of Arch Maester Martin and the Producers of the show,

As Nine O Clock Eastern Time approaches, I am ready to go!

I watch the scenes some I like, and some that I don't care for,

Why does she have so many scenes if she's just playing a whore?

I guess HBO cares more about cheap skin to get ratings and viewership,

Martin needed 9 for Blackwater shooting, but only got one ship!

I am glad it is over, I get ready for bed,

Visions of Dragons, Kings, and warriors dance in my head,

Thinking about it makes me full of joy and peace,

I hope soon that all the villains will be deceased!

But it is Saturday night and I am watching basketball,

Thinking about Salt Wives, The Red Waste and Thralls,

Thinking about night fires, wights, wildlings and cold snow,

Thinking about a year, where did the time go?

Fake Westerosi on Twitter and pointless debates on this website,

To all I shout, "Valar Morghulis" and have a very good night!

@TTT when you have only 10 episodes, you may want to do character development and not show unnecessary T and A that isn't in the books or is a footnote in the books.

Also, I am wondering how the Catelyn/Littlefinger scene will play out since it didn't happen in the book.

I posted this on another thread earlier today:

Went for a run to clear my head when I came back Robert and Eddard were dead

This set in motion so such much commotion leading to a clash of Kings

An incestuous evil bastard on the Iron throne pisses everyone off including his own

The Peach in the south lovely is he, lost his life to his brother for not bending the knee

On the Seastone chair the Grey King sat licking his lips at the thought of a great sack

In the north a wolf King arose, seeking justice for all to oppose

The true born heir full of fury descended upon his brother without quarter or mercy

Beyond the wall the wildling King pled with the black brothers in the hope of avoiding the Others

Finally across the ocean, rides the dragon Queen full of emotion

How it will end no one is certain for we all must await the final curtain

They coined the term 'sexposition' (as in exposition) for the scenes in question because they do develop character. Theon's scenes with Roz let you know everything you need to know about him prior to ACoK. Baelish's gives you the motivation for his betrayal of Ned later in that same episode. Even Pycelle's is there to tell us that he is more than he seems.
