Why don't people like Stannis?

Hi everyone! I just noticed that there is a lot of irrational Stannis hate on this forum, so I created this thread so all of you Stannis haters can have a place to rant.

I'll start, Stannis sucks becacuse he doesn't have dragons.

Uhh, this is going to end poorly, but i'll post for the hell of it.

Some people are turned off by Stannis' unbending personality, and lack of pragmatism. Others are intimidated or annoyed by some of the fans of Stannis, some of which can come off as overbearing and bullying. While others dislike Stannis for his use of Melisandre, specifically using the Shadow-baby to assassinate Renly.

Stannis fans have a bullying approach as they know he sucks but somehow want to be different. At least that's my take on it. I'm not sure how they could be fans.

I like Stannis for the complexity in his character.

I don't like him for the overdone displays of machismo which lead so many to love him.
