baneling
Hi there, I just started reading this book. How much time has gone by between the prologue and chapter 1? Or am I not supposed to know this yet?

baneling
so far i've read the first 5 or 6 chapters and its sort of slow. i was expecting this book to be better considering all the good things I heard about this book and the fact they made a show about it. I'm hoping it gets better.

If you feel like you understand it all and that its simple then i will post a video of me eating my dog. Who is rather huge to be honest.

A lot of the beginning of the novel is to introduce the main POV characters and provide a little exposition of their situations hitherto to the present. The other posters here are correct. Things pick up towards the middle in terms of tension and suspense.
