  1. Not gonna lie, I love this example. It would fit, if the theory is true. The aren't many wargs in Westeros, most are usually found beyond the wall.
  2. Does a glass candle even burn? Glass Candles seem like Asoiaf's version of the Palantír.
  3. I'm going to assume that most people who read this are aware of the Maesters' conspiracy theory. Which states that the Citadel is anti-magic, and has been actively trying to remove magic from Westeros. By killing of dragons and targaryens. Probably also hiding away magical books(my headcanon) This theory is based on Marwyn and Barbery Dustin's words, who both believe the Maesters are anything but apolitical or even ethical. Marwyn believes the Maester want to eradicate magic and Barbery believes the Maesters influenced Rickard to create his southern alliances, which ultimately lead to the Targaryens being deposed. If we consider this theory to be true. 1. Why are the Maesters doing this? 2. What are they trying to achieve?
  4. Whether you call it an alliance or not. 3 great houses were joined together by marriage with the 4th one being tied in by friendship.
  5. The is a popular theory that due to "Southern Ambitions", Rickard Stark betrothed Brandon to Catelyn and Lyanna to Robert, allying the North with the Riverlands and the Stormlands. That by having Ned and Robert fostered at the Eyrie, they were cementing a friendship thereby allying with the Vale. Creating the STAB alliance; Stark, Tully, Arryn and Baratheon. 1. Was it created for benevolent or malicious reasons? 2. What were each of the lords thinking when they betrothed their children? What were their goals?
